Target Shooting Regulations
a. The Shooting Committee of the 13th European Maccabi Games will be responsible for the Shooting competitions of the 13th European Maccabi Games.
b. The Shooting competitions will be conducted according to the shooting rules and regulations as set up by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF Rules). Weapons and equipment checks may be carried out during training and before competition. All competitors in shooting events have to obey to the general safety rules.
c. Participation in the competition is open to any athlete who is in possession of a Participant Card, issued by the Organising Committee of the 13th European Maccabi Games.
d. Each country may enter one team only for each of the team events of the Shooting competitions.
e. Each team may consist of a maximum of 3 participating shooters, who will also compete as individuals.
f. Women shooters are entitled to participate in the men’s team competition only if it is necessary to make up the required number of shooters.
g. Each competitor should bring or purchase the ammunition needed.
2. Venues and times
a. The venues and times of the Shooting competitions will be determined by the Shooting Committee of the 13th European Maccabi Games, and teams will be notified accordingly.
b. The Shooting Committee is authorized to change the venues and times of the competitions. These decisions will be final.
3. System of competition
a) Mens Events:
1. Free Rifle, 60 shots prone 50 meters
2. Free Rifle, 3 positions x 40 ( 120 shots) 50 meters
b) Open (Mixed)Events:
3. Air Pistol, 60 shots 10 meters
4. Free Pistol, 60 shots 50 meters
The Judges of the competition will be appointed by the Judges Committee which in turn will be selected by the Shooting Committee.
a. These regulations are but one part of the complete 13th European Maccabi Games regulations, and must be read along with the instructions found in “Basic Rules and Regulations and Disciplinary Procedures”.
b. In the event of a discrepancy between the regulations written here and those appearing in the “Basic Rules and Regulations”, the regulations written here will apply and be binding.
