Badminton Regulations
1. Organisation
The Badminton Committee of the 13th European Maccabi Games will be responsible for the Badminton competitions of the 13th European Maccabi Games.
The Badminton competitions will be conducted according to the Rules and Regulations of the International Badminton Federation.
Participation in the competition is open to any athlete who is in possession of a Participant Card, issued by the Organising
Committee of the 13th European Maccabi Games.

2. Venues and Times
The Badminton Committee of the 13th European Maccabi Games will determine the venues and times of the Badminton competitions and teams will be notified accordingly.
The Badminton Committee is authorized to change the venues and times of the competitions. These decisions will be final.

3. Game Shuttlecock
The games will be played with Babolat Aeroflex Tour 77.

4. System of Competition

Open Male:
1. Singles (up to 6 players per country)

2. Doubles (up to 3 pairs per country)

Open Female:
1. Singles (up to 6 players per country)

2. Doubles (up to 3 players per country)

Junior Boys:
1. Singles (up to 6 players per country)

2. Doubles (up to 3 pairs per country)

Junior Girls:
1. Singles (up to 6 players per country)

2. Doubles (up to 3 pairs per country)

Singles competition:
1. Singles competitions will be played on a KNOCKOUT basis with a seeded draw. There will be a plate competition for first round losers in the singles competitions.

2. In case of less than 6 entries for the singles competitions, they will be played on a league basis, single-round-robin. Further first and second will play the finals and third and fourth will play for bronze.

Doubles competitions:
1. The doubles competitions will be played on a KNOCKOUT basis with a seeded draw.

2. In case of less than 6 entries for the doubles competitions, they will be played on a league basis, single-round-robin. Further first and second will play the finals and third and fourth will play for bronze.

5. Officiating
The Badminton Committee will select an Umpires Committee, which in turn will appoint the umpires of the competition.

6. General
These regulations are but one part of the complete 13th European Maccabi Games Regulations, and must be read along with the instructions found in "Basic Regulations and Disciplinary Procedures".
In the event of a discrepancy between the regulations written here and those appearing in the "Basic Regulations", the regulations written here will apply and be binding.
